Princess Hairstorm

We were at the park yesterday and someone had the audacity to say that Zadie was having a bad hair day (while I never! j/k). That girl is having a bad hair everyday. She just has crazy hair. We try to tame it as best we can but it is known to stand straight up like a 3" baby mohawk! We often call Zola Princess Hairstorm because her hair is so fine and does wild things. Here is a picture after her braids are taken out.

Zadie is no longer swaddled and has been upgraded from a mini co-sleeper to a pack-n-play bassinet. Her new bedroom is our bathroom. This is a nice quiet, dark, cool room which she has taken nicely too. Did I mention that it actually has a door! This allows Zola to be as loud as she wants to and she doesn't have to tiptoe around the sleeping baby anymore. Zadie prefers to sleep on her tummy (finally!) and can roll all around her new bed. This is quite an improvement for self soothing. I have stopped letting her cry it out because she just needs me to put in her binky and rub her head for a couple of minutes and she falls right to sleep. She really likes her head rubbed and blown on. It must make her feel cooler, she is such a hot, sweaty kid. Here is the latest and greatest video - quite the little sitter-upper. I was trying to make her laugh. Check out the ending.
