Zola writes her name

Over time Zola has acquired her letters, lower and upper case. This is very exciting because she just got into the letters and started to memorize them. We watch Word World on PBS and this just reinforces all this letter learning and spelling. Zola and Zadie's names are also on their towels so she has those down pat. I think Woody has worked with her on writing her name awhile back but you can imagine a mother's excitement to see this. She says the "L" is kind of crooked but I still love it. I am also so happy that she has begun to draw again. I still can't figure out why she draws all her people in profile, but hey, it's just nice to see her drawing again after a break of many many months.
