First Tooth

Zadie has gotten her very first tooth! Zola didn't get any teeth until she was almost eight months old (due I detect competition?). The bottom left tooth has poked through and I think her fever last night was an indicator that the right one is coming soon. I used Emily's friend/relatives' advice of putting a sticker on the child's nose for distraction while taking her temperature the old fashioned way (you get what I mean, do I have to be more specific?). The sticker advice was meant for squirmy wormies during diaper changes but it works great during temp taking too. After a bit of tylenol she is sleeping like a champ (in the bathroom).

A new friend!

Hi Mom!

Why buy toys for babies when paper is their number one favorite, followed by anything else they really shouldn't have. Bowls, spoons, and other household goods are always fun too!

Zola's friend Violet came to play. The girls were trying out all the baby toys, for nostalgia's sake (at least that is what Zola told me, ha ha).
