Blueberries

Can a kid really eat too many frozen blueberries? I really think that Zadie is in danger of becoming a frozen blueberry. I usually feed them to her on a spoon as her fingers and face are easily stained blue. This must have been right before a bath so I let her go hog wild with the blueberries. Somehow her right foot turns blue during this whole process. Zadie loves blueberries so much that she will now go to the freezer, point, and make some noises to let us know she wants some blueberries. She also has learned to sign please to ask for more. I am trying to teach her to sign "more please" but she skips the more and enthusiastically rubs both of her hands all over her chest and belly to indicate that she wants more of something (a simple one hand rub on your chest is sufficient for please, but she is more adamant).

Zadie also likes to lounge around on the floor. Here she is reading my birthday card. She did this for about five minutes, just closing and opening the card and listening to the crazy song. She's a Super Freak!

Here is Zola camping out under the computer table. She doesn't like me to take her picture so she is hiding her eyes.

Today Zola was talking about how she "stung" her Grandma Peggy over and over again with her bee stinger when Grandma was visiting. I reminded her that she also kept pretending to cut off her Grandma's legs too, over and over again and then sewing them back on. To this she replied, "Did you put that on the blog Mommy?"

Zadie has a tendency to turn the TV on all the time. To prepare for this onslaught we mute the sound and then put it on an all weather or news channel so that she doesn't sit there and watch it. I guess my next step would just be to unplug it. The other day Zola turns on the TV and I ask her to turn it off. To this she replied, "I just want to watch the crappy news." I guess I must have said this a few times before!
