Happy Birthday Zola!

Zola is three years old today (how time flies, or crawls at a snail's pace depending on the day).

We are happy to help Zola celebrate her special day. Turning three is no easy task, but with plenty of frosting off of chocolate cupcakes I am sure she will have the energy required!

A few fun things:

• Woody has convinced Zola that when she pulls on his ears it moves his eyes. Down on the ears, down go the eyes. Ears left, eyes left. You get the picture. She even had to try it on herself. She looked in the mirror but nothing happened when she pulled her own ears. Must just be Daddy ears...
• Like her mother in so many ways. I changed her pillowcase from the super soft one to the polka dot one that matches her comforter. When I went in and got her from her nap she had taken off the pillowcase and thrown it on the floor. She said it was "too scratchy!" That is what I thought too and why I didn't put it on right away. Another princess and the pea kind of girl.
• After tying a leash on her daddy. "Daddy, you look like a piggy." Which really is quite funny because she ties leashes on her dog but never her pig. Tee hee hee.
• Upon seeing something that she would like to have, "We should get that at Target"
• When sitting on the potty and Zadie comes near Zola open and closes her hands saying "Blink, blink, DON'T WALK" just like the sign when you cross the street.

Zola spent the morning of her birthday playing at her friend Ben's house. He has lots of cool trains and cars so she was in heaven. Here is a video of one of her many Happy Birthday songs. I guess I should have warned her not to touch the candles.
