Zadie has learned how to spin around in circles within the last couple of weeks. This might just top the all time cute behavior. She throws her hands up in the air and then spins around in circles, proceeds to get dizzy, and then falls. She, like her big sis, has also become a big fan of Hello Dolly and dances her little heart out to the music. She has her own arm swinging, spinning, one legged marching thing going on. I will try to get a video of it. It is hilarious.
Zadie also has started to call Zola, yah-yah, and very loudly I might add. The other morning she was standing outside of Zola's room and saying yah-yah, yah-yah. Very loudly. See, her big sis was still asleep and she wanted to play with her! Zadie loves her sister, especially when Zola is nice to her and feeds her crackers or raisins in the car.
A long time ago I taught Zola to give me her boogers instead of wiping them on her clothes (or the walls). This may be backfiring now. I think I should have taught her to get a tissue and put said booger in the tissue instead of giving it to me like some kind of present. She is so faithful in giving me her "finds" that twice now in the middle of the night she will yell "Mommy, I have a booger for you." This requires me to leave my bed and get the booger. I am so tired that I probably just wipe it on my own clothes (these boogers can be pretty miniscule), nulling and progress I had made in not having boogers wiped on clothes.
Zola is for sure going to be a sleepwalker. The things that go on in her mind in the middle of the night already come out as sleep talking. Once she asked me to get her a wet wash cloth and then proceeded to wipe her lips and tongue, hand me back the wash cloth and go back to sleep. She has asked me to wipe her finger, no this finger, it is all dirty. Luckily, for now, I reasuure it that whatever is bothering her is no longer bothering her and she goes back to sleep.
We were in the car and Zola was eating this bun thing with sweet bean paste in the middle that was left over from Dim Sum. I overheard her saying "I love this, no I don't like this at all, no I love it!" Make up your mind lady!
