Making Friends

Zola has begun to want to make friends. This is a huge step for her. She is such a loner I was wondering when she would warm up to other kids and want to hang out with them. This weekend at the park she found this young Russian boy to play with. They played tea party at the park and made wishes in the fountain. When he was leaving she got all sad, and said that she was sad and wanted to keep playing with the boy. A similar thing happened today at the Garfield Park Conservatory. She saw this boy and the two were immediately glued together. They chased each other, went down the slide, explored the different rooms, and took all the short cuts together.

Zadie on the other hand is a social animal. When she sees another person in the room she will do everything in her power to get the new person to look at her and observe her every move. She waves hi and bye to all and loves to show her belly button to everyone, even if you don't ask. She craves new people, any people, more people!
