Sold to the only/lowest bidder!

Our condo is actually under contract. I believe it is a small miracle that I should be greatful for. Unfortunately, I have reverse buyer's remorse. I didn't know whether to title this entry "Sold to the ONLY bidder" or "Sold to the LOWEST bidder." I believe that we sold it to both the only and lowest bidder. I know I shouldn't be surprised. I know that the market is adjusting itself. I know that it didn't make a lot of sense to hold out for another buyer. I know that in the end that it really really doesn't matter. Chalk it up to bad timing. You are supposed to buy low, sell high. Fortunately, we purchased this place in 2002 so we didn't buy too high, but man, we are sure selling low. It's a steal I say. I guess the seller always thinks their place is worth more and the buyer thinks the place is worth less. We are a year too late for the good (hyper inflated) prices! At least we have the close date at the end of July. This will give us plenty of time to ensure the house is complete and ready to move into. We won't have to move anywhere temporarily, yippee.

We also have friends that are getting divorced, I mean who doesn't. I am sure they don't read this blog, so I'll say that this one is really eating at me. Three kids. Seemingly happy. The question always is, what happened? Did someone cheat? Did politics tear them apart (one republican/one democrat)? It is most likely always more simple than that. Someone just moved on. There is no one thing that made them decide, hey, let's get divorced. It just happened. Isn't the saying, "bleep" happens?

We were washing the outside windows and Zola & Zadie continued Spring cleaning the playhouse!

Zola fell asleep on way to Peggy Notebaert museum with Woody. Woody let her sleep for an hour and a half and they missed the museum but got to go to Home Depot, which was just as exciting she said.

Daddy time, lemon cake treat

Zola arranged all her animals for Gloria's (her stuffed German Shepard) first birthday. She even sang to her and made her a cake. It was quite cute.

Grandma Martha Reinert came to play while Handyman Ken (aka Grandpa) completed some odd jobs around our condo. They made homemade ARGO starch playdoh. I have to comment that I like this MUCH better than store bought playdoh. It is much softer and lasts up to two weeks. We are still playing with it and it remains very soft and easy to use & super easy to clean up. I highly recommend it!

How adorable! I loved the pictures. You should e-mail me the recipe for that playdoh. Bella and Anah would love it. Sorry to hear about your condo selling so low but at least it sold which is more than some people can say.
