Today we watched Kaya, a friend of Zola's who lives across the street. She and her family are moving to Singapore at the end of the month and today was the day the movers came to pack them up for the big move. She came and played with us while her stuff was being packed. No toddler likes to pack things up - it is always the unpacking that is fun. The two girls play very well together. We will all be sad to see her and her family leave but are also very excited for them and remember our days of traveling abroad fondly. After some water table play outside on the deck the two girls decided to practice singing their VERY LOUD songs (much like Olivia, for those that read her books).

Loud Singing is the Best!
We live in a two bedroom loft style condo. You can hear everything everywhere. But for some reason I insisted on getting monitors for the girls. On top of that, they are video monitors so I can sneak a peak at the little ones while they are sleeping. Here is Zadie snug as a bug in a rug. I have heard that there were babies like her (good sleepers, knock on wood). I just didn't know that I would get one!
