Zola is back to taking naps most days again (thank me lucky stars!) Zola needs a hammock. I have made one in her bed that holds all of her animals. Usually during nap time she takes all her animals out and climbs into the hammock. She has almost fallen asleep in it and so far has climbed out just as she was about to conk out. I wouldn't mind if she took her nap in the hammock, I would just be worried it would be uncomfortable. I still don't really know how she fits in it!
If you give any toddler shoes to put on, statistically there should be a 50:50 chance that the shoes end up on the correct feet. I think it is innate that the shoes end up on the wrong feet because that is what seems to happen the most. Here is Zola in the awesome new hand-me-down rain boots from Mia.
Our busy weekend was topped off with a disturbing failure of our armoires' hardware. The front panel that folds out and acts like a desk came crashing down while Zola and I were "doing videos" on the computer before bed last night. Unfortunately, Zola came crashing down too and fell flat on her face. She has a nice bruised cheek and her second fat lip of the week. She recovered well and the damage to her could have been worse so we are thankful. At the time of the crash we were using it normally (meaning leaning on, but not climbing). She has climbed on it from time to time but she is told not too and I don't think it happened so much that the hardware should have failed so completely. Room & Board will come out and replace it, I just hope we can trust it.
Last, but not least...a video of Zadie. Zadie likes to scratch the hair on her head. I am not sure if it is because it is itchy, or hair feels good, or she is excited that her hand can finally reach the top of her head. Have you have noticed that baby heads are so big their little arms can barely reach the tops of their heads. There is a serious disproportion to that big baby head! Just raise your arm up and you'll see what I mean.

That is an adorable clip of Zadie. I love it. I think you are right about the wrong feet. Johari puts them on the "wrong" feet most of the time too. I say "wrong" is relative.
I love how you can cover so much in one post!! (and how I can hear the wiggleworms CD in the background of the Zadie clip.) is there something wrong with me if I can barely reach the top o fmy head? kidding!
