Mouse Cookies & More book. The recipe called for a lot of butter, I think we will substitute half shortening next time. The cookies were VERY large indeed but extremely flat. It was a good way to spend a rainy morning, and guess who loves chocolate chips (everybody silly!)
Zadie must be growing because she took a killer nap. Zola and I preceded to fill our morning with bean tea party. We had bean tea, bean cake, bean sugar, and bean cream. It was really a nice time had by all. We used our new fancy IKEA porcelain tea set (ages 8+, what are we, crazy?)
