"Not at all"

For those of you who really know me, you know that I can't have a conversation with the TV on or the music too loud. I just loose my thought and am not able to focus on what I am saying. I have been known to loose my train of thought while talking to someone on the phone & the music on their end is loud. I just sat down to write and Zola and Woody are watching Curious George, post (non-existent) nap routine. I had to put headphones on to block it out, I couldn't write a thing. Some things never change!

Zola has decided to stop napping. She hasn't napped since Monday. Every day we try. She spends at least an hour in her bed playing, singing, yelling, talking, etc, but never sleeping. I guess she doesn't need it? I think differently, but she begs to differ.

Naptime:
Z: I'm not tired Mommy.
M: Are you sure? You look pretty tired.
Z: Not at all Mommy.

Playtime:
M: Are you done playing with the flour Zola?
Z: Not at all Mommy.
M: Are you ready to eat dinner Zola?
Z: Not at all Mommy.

Zola is very good at saying "Not at all." It is pretty sassy, but is polite in its own way.

Morning:
M: Does this play involve me having coffee at all?
Z: You better have coffee or you'll be crabby.
M: You're right. I'll get coffee, then we can play.

Last night Zola was having her after dinner cookies. She likes any cookies with frosting/icing in the middle. She just licks off the icing, never eating the outside. Yesterday was the cutest, in the clearest of voices realizing her cookie was broken.
Z: Oh no! Ginger snap is broken!

Below is a short video of Zola exploring our 2nd bedroom/stuff room. She has enjoyed exploring the new books, cables, & equipment. We are planning to clean this out and move Zadie in here until we move. We have a lot of cleaning to do!
